Industry: education & e-learning

Education: your own learning platform, no marketplace cut.

You pay commission to a course marketplace and a monthly fee for an LMS your logo does not even fit in, and your learners pass through 3 different systems between enrollment and certificate. We build a learning platform and website under your own brand where enrolling, paying, learning and certifying are one flow.

Education & e-learning

E-learning platform or training provider website development

The training market is shifting to blended and online learning, which is good news for providers who own their channel. Thousands of accredited training providers, training agencies, industry academies and coaches currently sell courses through a generic LMS subscription and a marketplace that takes commission and customer data. Enrollment runs through a form, invoicing through Excel, the certificate through a separate email.

RABZI builds the digital side of a training provider as one whole: a provider website with a course catalog and SEO per course, an enrollment and payment flow with the right VAT handling, a custom learning platform or a headless build on Moodle or aNewSpring, and an employer portal where business clients see the progress and certificates of their staff. SCORM and xAPI content stays yours, and so does learner data.

You work directly with the maker, at a fixed price and with a fixed delivery date. A provider website with course sales goes live in 3 to 6 weeks; a custom LMS or learning app in 6 to 16 weeks.

  • 0%commission on enrollments through your own platform
  • SCORM / xAPIyour learning content stays portable and yours
  • WCAG 2.2 AAaccessible to every learner
  • 3–6 wksprovider website with course sales live

Education & e-learning: what we see.

01

Enrollment, invoicing and certification are still manual

We build an enrollment and payment flow that ties Mollie, your bookkeeping (Exact Online or Moneybird) and the certificate generator together, so a learner enrolls themselves, pays on the spot and automatically receives a certificate after the final module. No more spreadsheet, no more hand-typed invoice.

02

Your LMS subscription and the marketplace take margin and customer data

We build a learning platform under your own brand, custom or headless on Moodle or aNewSpring, so you pay no commission per enrollment, your brand is consistent everywhere and learner data sits in your database rather than on a platform that also serves your competitors.

03

Visitors compare, but do not enroll

We build a page per course with start dates, price, level, reviews and a clear enroll button, plus technical SEO on "[topic] course" and "[field] training", so you are findable per course and the hesitant visitor clicks through.

04

Business clients want reporting, you send a PDF

We build an employer portal where an HR manager registers staff, sees progress and compliance certificates and receives one consolidated invoice, with a connection to their HR system, so a business client orders from you again next year.

05

Content goes stale faster than you can update it

We build AI support into your platform that generates practice questions, summaries and draft modules from existing material and that acts as an AI tutor answering learner questions from your content, so your teachers keep their time for actual teaching.

Our approach

How we approach it.

  1. 01

We start with the enrollment flow

In 20 minutes we walk through what a learner experiences today, from first visit to certificate. That is almost always where the biggest gain sits, and it decides what we build first.

  2. 02

Standards where possible, custom where it counts

SCORM and xAPI for learning content, LTI and SURFconext for connections, Moodle or aNewSpring as the engine when it fits. Custom work goes into the part that sets you apart: the learner experience and the employer portal.

  3. 03

Accessible and multilingual from day 1

Education falls under European accessibility rules and your learners switch between phone, tablet and laptop. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, with captions for video and an interface that reads right in English and Dutch.

  4. 04

Fixed price, fixed date, everything yours

You get a price and a delivery date up front. Code, content and learner data are yours after delivery; you are locked into nothing and can move at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about education & e-learning.

01How much does e-learning platform development cost?

A provider website with course catalog, enrollment and payment starts at €4,950 excl. VAT; with e-commerce features for individual courses and subscriptions from €7,500. A custom learning platform or LMS starts at €12,500 and runs to roughly €50,000 for a multi-tenant platform with an employer portal. A learning app for iOS and Android from €15,000. You get a fixed price up front; extra work only at your request.

02How long does a custom LMS take to build?

A provider website with course sales goes live in 3 to 6 weeks. A custom learning platform takes 6 to 16 weeks depending on the number of integrations and whether an employer portal is included; a learning app 8 to 16 weeks. We work in 2-week sprints with a working demo at the end of each one, so your teachers can review early and prepare content in parallel.

03Can you integrate with Moodle, aNewSpring or our CRM?

Yes. We connect to Moodle, Canvas, aNewSpring and Coachview, handle SSO through SURFconext or Microsoft Entra, integrate video platforms such as Vimeo and Microsoft Teams, HubSpot for marketing, and Exact Online or Moneybird for invoicing. Learning content moves through SCORM, xAPI or LTI, so existing modules come along and you are never tied to a single vendor.

04Can I sell online courses through my own website instead of a marketplace?

Yes, and it is usually the first thing we build. A course catalog with start dates and seats, payment by iDEAL or card through Mollie, the correct VAT treatment for accredited providers, automatic invoices in your bookkeeping and a confirmation with calendar invite. The marketplace can remain as an extra channel; your own site becomes the channel without commission and with customer data.

05Do you also work for universities of applied sciences, vocational colleges and edtech startups?

Yes. For departments of universities and vocational colleges we build learning environments and tools with SURFconext SSO and LTI integration into the existing LMS, including the accessibility obligations. For edtech startups we build an MVP in 6 to 8 weeks on an architecture that scales to thousands of concurrent learners, and we stay on as a fractional tech team afterwards.
