Industry: logistics & transport

Logistics: real-time insight from shipper to driver.

Every “where is my shipment” costs a planner minutes nobody invoices. We build customer portals with live track & trace, driver apps and integrations with TMS, ERP and e-CMR that replace the emailing and calling. Live in weeks, around your existing systems.

Logistics & transport

Custom logistics software, customer portal and driver app development

Shippers demand real-time track & trace, ETAs and digital POD, and increasingly award tenders to carriers with a portal. Meanwhile planners juggle Excel, WhatsApp and separate TMS screens, PDF orders get retyped and drivers run on paper trip lists. With almost 16,000 open vacancies in Dutch transport and warehousing, there is nobody left to absorb that manual work.

RABZI builds the layer that is missing. A customer portal with live ETA, CMR and POD, rates and order entry. A driver or warehouse app that works offline, with scanning, photo, signature and hours, connected to your TMS or WMS. An integration layer with EDI and API connections to shippers, Exact Globe, AFAS or Dynamics 365, TransFollow and Portbase. And AI order intake that turns emails and PDFs into TMS orders automatically.

No 12-month ERP project. We build around Boltrics, Transics or Ortec, deliver in weeks and make sure the dashboard comes with it: load factor, margin per customer, on-time percentage and CO₂ per trip for the CSRD questions from your large customers.

Logistics & transport: what we see.

01

Shippers call and email for status, ETA and POD

We build a customer portal with live track & trace, ETAs, digital CMR and POD and rates, so shippers look it up themselves and the planning desk stops being a call center.

02

Planners work in Excel, WhatsApp and separate TMS screens

We build one planning screen on top of your TMS with trip status, capacity and AI suggestions for combinations, so empty miles and overtime drop without replacing the TMS.

03

Orders arrive as PDF or email and get retyped

We build AI order intake that reads emails, PDFs and Excel attachments and places a validated order in your TMS, so entry errors and delays disappear and the office plans instead of types.

04

Drivers run on paper and call at every deviation

We build a driver app that works offline, with trip list, scanning, photos, signature, damage and hours, connected to TMS and TransFollow e-CMR, so the POD is in before the driver leaves the street.

05

No management information on cost per trip and customer profitability

We build an operations dashboard with load factor, margin per customer, on-time percentage and CO₂ emissions per trip, so you substantiate rates and deliver the CSRD reporting your large customers require.

06

EDI connections with shippers take months

We build an integration layer with EDI, API and carrier connections to shippers, Portbase, PostNL, DHL and your ERP, so a new customer is onboarded in days instead of quarters.

Integrations we work with

Our approach

How we approach it.

  1. 01

A process walk with the planning desk

We start with 30 minutes next to the planner: which orders come in how, what gets retyped, who calls about what. The first sprint is already on the table.

  2. 02

Around your TMS, not through it

Boltrics, Transics, Ortec or your own custom system remains the source. We build portal, app and integrations around it via API or EDI, without migration and without downtime.

  3. 03

First the integration that removes the most manual work

Usually that is order intake or POD. It goes live in weeks; then portal, app and dashboard follow in sprints that each remove a measurable number of calls or retyping hours.

  4. 04

Built for the cab and the dock

Big buttons, offline storage, scanner support and sync as soon as there is coverage. An app a driver does not understand in 1 day does not go live.

  5. 05

    Scalable and yours

EU cloud, monitoring and CI/CD are in place from day 1. Code, data and accounts are your property, even if you continue with another party later.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about logistics & transport.

01How much does a track & trace portal or customer portal cost?

A customer portal with track & trace, documents and order entry, connected to your TMS, starts from €12,500 excl. VAT. A driver or warehouse app starts from €15,000, a single integration with Exact, AFAS or a shipper from €3,950, an integration layer for 3 systems from €9,500 and an operations dashboard from €3,950. Fixed price and fixed date up front; at 200 status requests a week, a portal pays for itself within a year.

02How long does custom logistics software development take?

A first integration or AI order intake is live in 2 to 6 weeks. A customer portal with track & trace takes 6 to 12 weeks, a driver app 8 to 16 weeks, a fully custom TMS or WMS for a niche 16 to 24 weeks in phases. We deliver in 2-week sprints and put something live every sprint that removes manual work right away, so you do not wait a year for a big bang.

03Can you integrate with our TMS, Exact, AFAS and TransFollow?

Yes. We connect to Boltrics, Transics, Ortec and other TMS and WMS systems with an API or export option, to Exact Globe and Online, AFAS and Dynamics 365 for invoicing and accounting, to TransFollow for e-CMR, to Portbase for port logistics and to carriers like PostNL, DHL and Sendcloud. With shippers we connect via EDI (EDIFACT, X12) or their API. Every integration is monitored and reports itself when something fails.

04What exactly does AI order intake do in logistics?

Orders arrive as email, PDF, Excel or a photo of a consignment note. The AI reads addresses, time windows, packages, weight and references, checks them against your customer data and places a validated order in your TMS. Doubtful cases go to a planner for review with the source next to it. In a 2-week Automation Sprint we build the first version on your own order flow; after that the system learns from corrections.

05Do we have to replace our TMS or WMS?

No. In most cases the TMS or WMS is good enough as the source of truth; what is missing is the layer around it: portal, app, integrations and dashboard. We build those through the API or export options of your current system, without migration and without downtime. Only in niches where no suitable package exists, such as movers or temperature-controlled transport with specific requirements, do we build a custom platform, in phases and alongside the existing software.
